In accordance with the requirements of the State of Nebraska Law, notice of each new LLC, Corporation, or Trade Name that is registered in Pierce County, Nebraska must be published in a newspaper.

In accordance with the requirements of Nebraska Statute §21-193 notice of organization, amendment of the certificate of organization, merger, conversion, or domestication must be published three successive weeks in some legal newspaper of general circulation near the designated office of the limited liability company. Proof of such publication shall be filed in the office of the Secretary of State in order to be in compliance with the State of Nebraska law.

In accordance with the requirements of Nebraska Statute §21-2,229 notice of incorporation, amendment, merger, or share exchange of a domestic corporation shall be published for three successive weeks in some legal newspaper of general circulation in the county where the corporation’s principal office, or, if none in this state, its registered office, is located. Proof of such publication shall be filed in the office of the Secretary of State in order to be in compliance with the State of Nebraska law.

If proof of publication is not filed with the Secretary of State you are not in compliance with the Nebraska Law.

Nebraska Trade Name Requirements
In accordance with the requirements of Nebraska Statute §87-219 the registration of a trade name shall be published once in a newspaper of general circulation published in the city or village where the business is to be located, or, if there is no newspaper in the city or village, in some newspaper of general circulation in the county. Proof of such publication shall be filed in the office of the Secretary of State within 45 days from the date of registration.

If proof of publication is not filed with the Secretary of State within the 45 days, the registration shall be canceled by the Secretary of State.
